Dear Parents,

Our Concert was a huge success! The children had lots of fun, displaying all their diverse talents and their enjoyment was so clearly evident.

I would like to say a BIG Thank you to the Grade 0 and Foundation Phase Educators, who certainly did a splendid job with the concert. They managed to bring out the best in the children, and their hard work and dedication were so apparent. I extend my thankful wishes and my appreciation for your hard work in bringing the children and school to what is it today. I am very grateful to you all. Thank you to Roxanne for all her effort and time in designing and compiling the Concert programme and tickets. Thank you also to Wendy for handling the ticket sales so efficiently. To Savannah (Roxy’s) sister for stepping in at the last moment to assist with the sound. Thank you also to Chane (Mila’s Daughter) for helping the parents find their seats.

To all the Grade 0 parents, thank you for showing your appreciation of the concert and your support with complying with all the teachers’ requests. Thank you also for all your positive praise for the concert! As mentioned last night you have all been such fantastic parents and your support and enthusiasm have been heart-warming.

To all our great BOFS, CONGRATULATIONS! Each and every one of you gave amazing and impressive performances. You are all SUPERSTARS.

I send my appreciation, dear parent, for your guidance of your children at home regarding the way you, the parents, have brought up your child. The values and ethics at home are sure praiseworthy. This is so evident in your children’s behaviour with their positive social skills and beautiful manners.

Thank you also to all the families that have sent used clothing and the gifts requested (a ball, colouring-in book or a pad of blank paper and wax crayons) for Babelegi the school we support. If you would like to still contribute, please can you drop it off by the latest Wednesday morning in the Yellow bin outside the school gate?

Please don’t hesitate to contact me on 0832833770 should you have any queries relating to the school.

As you are well aware the cases of Covid are rising out there, so take care and stay safe.

Yours in Education,

Cheryl de Melo
