Our mission is to provide a child-centred nurturing environment in which each child, regardless of race, religion or ethnic background, may develop spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, cognitively and physically.

About Our School

Our focus is to enable the child to master the necessary skills for their life ahead and in doing so, give them the experience to develop and obtain an optimum level of competence for learning as well as to develop positive attitudes and a thirst for knowledge.

We aim to develop strong independent characters and positive self-esteem in our learners. The development of each child’s individual strengths and potential is a fundamental objective of our school. An essential aim is for each child to develop a positive and lasting image of themselves and others.

We also emphasise the value and importance of the child’s Emotional Intelligence and realise that it helps them build stronger relationships, succeed at school and work, and aids them in achieving their personal goals. IQ alone is not enough to excel in life. Emotional Intelligence (EI) forms the juncture at which cognition and emotion meet.

The minute we walked into Bryanston Grade 0 School we loved it and so did our son, Matteo. The teachers are amazing and take such an interest in each child (as well as the parents). Matteo loved every minute of his Gr 0 year and was so excited to go to school. We pop in and say hi every now again - we still feel like part of the family.

I viewed all the schools in the area. None of them came close to Bryanston Grade 0. The classrooms are spacious and not over full. The well maintained fenced play area with the big jungle gym was such a favourite with my son. Ms de Mello runs a tight ship, but she always made time and regularly stepped out of her office for a quick chat with passing parents and older kids, she knows everybody by name. The teachers are also amazing and so patient. We really enjoyed our year at Grade 0, and my son is now excelling because of them.

All three of my boys loved every moment at this school. The teachers are very friendly, loving and involved. My kids flourished at this school and my boys are a hand full if you know my family. The school and the staff in my opinion are competent and can handle all things that come their way.

Cheryl, you are amazing. Every child that is lucky enough to attend your school is so fortunate. You have always gone the extra mile and thanks so much for that! My son is now 30 years old and I couldn't have wished for him to have been at a better school!
