Dear Parents,
Please make sure your child comes to school wearing a sun hat and has sunscreen applied. A hat is essential to protect them from harmful UV rays during these hot and sunny days.
Thank you for your support and cooperation.

Dear Parents,
With the concert taking place next week on Tuesday and Wednesday [16th & 17th of September}, please take note of the arrangements below.
-It is compulsory that learners attend both nights of the concert. If you are only watching one evening, please ensure your child is here the other night as well. All children need to be collect at 19:45 each night.
Dress code:
-Clothing: Children will be getting dressed at school on both evenings of the concert and must leave their costumes at school on both nights. Unless discussed otherwise by your child’s class teacher.
-Make-up [Girls]: Learners may come to school with basic make-up on for both concert evenings if they are comfortable with it. (i.e., foundation, mascara, blush, and eyeshadow)
-Hair: No specific hairstyles are required unless discussed otherwise with your child’s teacher.
-Props and additional costume attire: All props will be handed out and put on at school.
Concert evening procedure:
1. Aftercare children are encouraged to be collected after school, if possible, to allow them to go home, rest and get ready for the concert and avoid an extremely long day.
2. Please ensure your child is bathed and has eaten before they arrive at school.
3. Learners MUST please arrive punctually at school between 17:30 and 18:00 and NO later than that. This allows time for the learners to receive their props, add additional costume items to their outfits and get settled.
4. The BOFS tuckshop will be open for you to enjoy in the foyer. Please note that no food or drinks are to be consumed in the hall during the concert production.
5. Show time: Parents may then find their seats and get ready for the show . Please be seated by 18:30.
6. After the show, learners need to be signed out and collected from their classroom.
If your child is feeling tired the next day, Wednesday, learners may arrive by 9:00. The learners are all very excited and look forward to entertaining you!
You can now purchase your concert tickets from the admin office.
- Tickets will operate on a no-cash policy; only EFT payments will be accepted.
- Remember to bring your proof of payment when purchasing, or you can send it to admin@bryanstongrade0.co.za.
Each ticket costs R100, and no tickets will be issued without prior payment.

We have observed a growing trend of students arriving late to school and being collected late after both regular hours and aftercare.
Please be reminded that:
- The school gate opens at 06:50 and closes at 08:00.
- Children not enrolled in Aftercare must be collected by 14:00.
After this time, educators are engaged in preparing lessons and materials for the following day. Any children left unsupervised after 14:00 face safety concerns, as staff are not available to provide supervision.
To ensure the well-being of our learners and the smooth running of our school, please note that a penalty fee of R175 will be charged for any collections after 14:15 unless prior arrangements have been made with the school.
Punctuality and adherence to school timings are vital. They not only contribute to your child’s academic success but also ensure their safety and help maintain a positive learning environment for everyone.
We greatly appreciate your cooperation in ensuring timely drop-off and pick-up.
Thank you

We are excited to share with you that we have received the quote for the Astro Turf from TALK Integrated Services and Landscaping.
We are excited to work along side you for ideas on raising funds for this project.
Your input would be appreciated.

Kitchen Access – Staff Only
The school kitchen is a designated staff-only area. For the safety of our learners, adherence to health regulations, and insurance compliance, no parents or learners may enter at any time. This rule has been communicated on multiple occasions and is clearly signed. There has been continued disregard for this policy. Please ensure you fill up your child’s bottles and attend to their lunchboxes at home.
We appreciate your immediate cooperation.
