Dear Parents,

As this term grows to a close, we thank you all for your continued support. Your positive words, encouragement, and love have certainly kept all our BOFS motivated during this busy term. We extend our gratitude to your families as well for walking this journey with us—we couldn’t do it without your partnership and trust.

Please note school closes at 10:30 am sharp on Friday, the 3rd of October. Please inform all drivers and transport companies of this early closure. School reopens on the 13th of October 2025. There is no aftercare on Friday.

At our school, we believe in building strong and open relationships with our families, which is why we have an open-door policy. We encourage parents to communicate openly with teachers and leadership, whether it’s to share concerns, ask questions, or celebrate achievements. By fostering this environment of transparency and collaboration, we aim to ensure that every child feels fully supported, both at school and at home.

We have observed a growing trend of students arriving late to school and being collected late after both regular hours and aftercare.

Please be reminded that:

• The school gate opens at 06:50 and closes at 08:00.
• Children not enrolled in Aftercare must be collected by 14:00.

After this time, educators are engaged in preparing lessons and materials for the following day. Any children left unsupervised after 14:00 face safety concerns, as staff are not available to provide supervision.

To ensure the well-being of our learners and the smooth running of our school, please note that a penalty fee of R175 will be charged for any collections after 14:15 unless prior arrangements have been made with the school.

Punctuality and adherence to school timings are vital. They not only contribute to your child’s academic success but also ensure their safety and help maintain a positive learning environment for everyone.

We greatly appreciate your cooperation in ensuring timely drop-off and pick-up.

Kitchen Access – Staff Only
The school kitchen is a designated staff-only area. For the safety of our learners, adherence to health regulations, and insurance compliance, no parents or learners may enter at any time. This rule has been communicated on multiple occasions and is clearly signed. There has been continued disregard for this policy. Please ensure you fill up your child’s bottles and attend to their lunchboxes at home.
